"Room is clean, toilet drains slow. Staff was courteous, but did not replenish our coffee. Wish AC would face a different direction which was facing the bed, it’s very uncomfortable to have the cold air blow straight on me, and cannot leave off during hot days. Breakfast was ok, not very many choices. "

"The reason we gave 5 stars is because of the very friendly helpful staff! We are very picky about beds and pillows and we slept really well! Even though this place needs updating it provides everything you need! Breakfast was awesome too! We saw toucans the minute we got there and heard howler monkeys. We loved the rustic atmosphere and authentic scenery! Our view was of the volcano too! How can you complain! Bar was fun at the swim up pool! We recommend this place for families! Close to everything too!"

"This hotel was absolutely fantastic, one of the best I have ever been too. The room was beautiful, exactly as pictured. We loved not just the in deck hot tub, but the pools as well and the 98 degree pool bar. Pools are open 24 hours and are very warm, so even in the rain it was amazing. The chocolate cake at the bakery was sublime. The staff was absolutely fantastic. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting an absolutely 5* experience."
