Our room only rate of £200 per night was good value but be aware our final bill was over £1000. We did enjoy the cocktails & wine list though 😀"

"The rooms are excellent, clean, quiet and picturesque. The staff in general were also excellent. Must have been the busiest time of the year but the bar and restaurant staff are not very good. Takes ages to get served in the bar and then there is no where to sit as everything was reserved. When I tried to reserve the next day, I was spent a yarn about 17:30 to 18:30 etc.... etc.. The breakfast quality is poor but the quantity is fine. The bacon was like leather, the sausage a bit tough and scrambled egg runny."
