The check in was fine and the staff were friendly. They even got us in an hour early!
My didn’t work for first few tries so it was back to the front. Should have taken as a sign of things to come.
We came in and were tired as we had been travelling all morning. We looked forward to some rest and maybe sleep but they put us in the middle of a construction site so we gave up on the rest and sleep. My wife fell getting out of the shower
On the slippery marble floor( no bath mat provided).
She hurt herself but seems to be fine (she is old and she’s nimble).
After going to bed we were awoken in middle of the night by a banging sound (I thought it was someone knocking on our door) seemed to be coming from our closet. It was a courtesy fridge but I couldn’t get at it due to the sliding closet doors being all cocked up so had to follow the many exposed cords to unplug it.
Definitely a bad experience and not typical of a Sheraton at any price. Too much money for what you get if this is typical though the hotel.
