"Fantastic little place. Proper country pub, with good food and really good beers. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and really helpful. The rooms stable yard style chaletes and round the back, when it's peaceful and quiet. They're spacious, warm and cozy and as well equipped as you could reasonably expect. "We had a lovely stay at Little Barham that we were staying at for a family party and trip to Colchester Zoo. It was a super comfortable bed, lovely setup with the zed bed for our son, lovely tea/coffee facilities and fantastic bathroom. The breakfast was amazing with eggs from the chickens laid that morning. They’re such a lovely couple running it and they went out of their way to accommodate our needs which we are hugely grateful for. "

"We stayed one night in order to visit Talliston House in Great Dunmow. We had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and warm, cosy and had everything we needed. We appreciated the milk, beverages and cookies. Everything was clean, the beds were lovely and it was a very quiet area. The gardens looked lovely, but weather did not allow us to fully explore. The cooked breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Faultless stay. "
