La Gran Plaza Shopping Mall Tours and Activities

The resort was everything we wanted. The whole facility was meticulously clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The pools were magnificent. The only downfall was the excessive amount of seaweed on the beach. The resort worked on removing as much as they could but the smell is not anything that could be helped. If quiet relaxation is what you’re looking for I would give this resort five stars!

Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but honestly, my group had fun because of US and the energy we brought, not because the resort provided enough entertainment. The Bash Tower room was nothing special, and I could have just kept the Trendy room. For a resort with this type of reputation, there definitely needs to be more entertainment and activities to keep the energy going. Also, be aware there is a $400 security deposit PER ROOM, which I found ridiculous. I’ve stayed at resorts in the Dominican Republic and Jamaica and never had to pay a security deposit like that. You aren’t just a basic hotel—you’re a resort, so act accordingly. The food was great, and that was definitely one of the highlights. Overall, we made the best of our trip and had a great time together, but as far as the resort itself goes, I’m not sure I would come back.
