Great house/Great host and Great side of lake
We really enjoyed the house! It’s a beautiful spot from where you can relax looking the lake and just walk down 5’ for swimming. We really recommend to stay here :) and probably will comeback..

Perfect spot
I wanted a quiet break. I got that in abundance. The accommodation was fantastic, close to the lake, great spot for swimming, boating and kayaking. Will definitely be back. Lovely host.

Summer arrived!
This was our second time staying at Linga-Longa and it was just as great as the first time. The bach is well equipped, comfortable and clean. The views of the lake are fantastic and there is plenty of room to park a boat out in front on the berm. Kelli and Richard were great to deal with and helpful, and easy to contact if needed. Whareroa is a great place to visit with a good beach and good boat ramp. Bring enough provisions for a number of days and you’ll never have to leave and just enjoy the laidback vibe!

Brilliant location
The bach overlooks the lake at quiet Whareroa. We had a group of three adults and one 12 year old, easily accommodated in the three bedroom bach. Its large living area is comfortable and its kitchen very functional with plenty of kitchenware for cooking. The fish were co-operative, too. The owner was responsive to messages, made access to the bach easy, and was open to us arriving a little earlier than usual and leaving a little later. I warmly recommend it.

Linga-Longa
We hired Linga-Longa for extra family over the weekend. Super clean and tidy, well equipped with everything you may need for your stay. Kelli is very easy to deal with. Excellent communication. Linga-Longa has a very relaxed feel with outstanding views of our very beautiful village and lake. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire again. Thanks so much Kelli my family were very comfortable and happy there.

Perfect for relaxing
The host is very friendly and helpful, very pleasant communication. The house is wonderful and has everything you need to relax. The surrounding is absolutely beautiful and quiet. A great stay for families.

Our family of 5 absolutely loved this place. You are given everything you need plus an amazing view of the lake. For us that were on a family adventure you could drive anywhere to be able to see snow, hit the hot pools and see great views in every direction. We travelled from Northland and couldn't have asked for more. The kitchen was well equipped, the property was nice and clean, and 10/10 for location. The fire place was a special treat to dry off our gear after hitting the snow and the board games were a nice way to wind down. Wifi connection was a extra plus to enjoy. We will absolutely be back as this place is has a nice homely vibe and heaps better than a motel.

Awesome place with everything you could need, highly recommend.
There is loads to love about this super comfortable, well-appointed home with so many little extras included that make your stay smooth and easy. The house was certainly the cleanest we've rented in years and the linen provided is fresh and comfortable. Easy stroll down to the beautiful lakeside reserves. Perfect house for summer and winter. Kelli was super responsive and helpful when we had queries, thank you so much for a great stay! Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful!
Beautiful location! The sunsets were just perfect. Great escape from the city. It was great to walk to the lake and walk around then take a swim. The place was as advertised. We found it to be cozy and spacious. Would recommend staying here!

We had a great time. Clean, good amenities, nice views, nice temperature inside. The owner even let us use their kayaks which was much appreciated. So relaxing. We will need to stay longer next time.

We'll Be Back
We had a great stay at Linga-Longa. We were able to rest up after coming off the a very wet Timber Trail ride anticipating we could walk the Tongariro Crossing a couple of days later. The weather was against us so we will book in again at a later date and have another stay at Kelli's great accommodation. Thanks so much Kelli, for all your extra help that was above and beyond. Looking forward to meeting up again soon.

Awesome & relaxing
Awesome place to stay for a short break. Excellent value for money. Very relaxing just sitting on the deck & looking at the amazing view over the lake. Very well appointed home, great kitchen with everything you will need to cook through your stay. Kelli the property manager was great to deal with, quick communication & even loaned us Kayaks during our stay (which we used everyday) . All the family loved it. We will return!!

Perfect spot
After spending so many holidays around the other side of the lake, we have been converted! The house and the location are perfect and the host was very welcoming. We would definitely come back and recommend Linga Longa to others.

Our family had a great time away at Linga-Longa in Whareroa. The bach is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday - and the views are fantastic. We brought a boat along and it was very easy to park it on the berm outside the bach. Kelli and family were great hosts and easily contactable if needed. Thanks for the welcoming gifts!

Amazing stay!!
An amazing stay at linga longa. The place is clean and tidy and has everything you need for a holiday, just a short walk to the beautiful Whareroa beach, what more could you ask for! We would highly recommend to anyone!!!

If you want to have peace and happiness in your holiday - Whareroa Village for you! And we were over welcome and pleasantly surprised with our staying place LINGA-LONGA. Location and view!
