"It was our second stay at Sherwood. We love it here, it’s relaxed and no frills while still having everything you need. The property has a seperate restaurant and function space that gets used often for external guests, ppl not staying at the hotel. Parking is a problem and we often didn’t get a park due to restaurant or function patrons. I would recommend that the internal car spaces be reserved exclusively for hotel guests, and that any external guests should have to find parks elsewhere. All in all though, we love it here. We will stay here again."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was ok not the best but not the worst we have had. Our bed was a bit worn as it sunk down in the middle. Apart from those minor things we really enjoyed our stay."

"Great stay. Really lovely service and buffet breakfast. Room was nice and clean. We stayed in the Remarkables View King room, and whilst the view in the distance was amazing, you do look down onto another building, an empty pool, carpark and unfortunately they were doing some renovations during our stay so the big white covered structure was a bit of an eye sore from our rather pricey room."

Pinewood Queenstown

10/10 Excellent
"We booked a family ensuite room at what we thought was a hostel for our one night in Queenstown not expecting much, and were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable, clean, and just generally nice the room was. It happened to be the night that the World Cup semi final was on at 7 AM, but we couldn't get it on the TV in our room. The lovely lady at reception had no idea how to fix that, but found us another, empty room where we could watch the important game, which was absolutely above and beyond. Would return here in a heartbeat. (Also, even though we arrived about 10 PM, we were able to park almost right outside our room, in the height of ski season.)"
