"We were visiting in the area@ needed a place to crash. The accommodations were ok, not the Hilton as I can’t afford the Hilton!
Very basic but worked for us"
"Amazing all around. Exactly what you hope to have in a B&B: excellent rooms (tastefully updated while maintaining all the original charm of the building), friendly and helpful host, lovely property and common spaces, and a great breakfast to start your day."

"Property was clean, staff professional. Buffet breakfast was plentiful. The hotel was sold out though and by 830am there were more than 20 people in line. And when you’re paying $600/night, I’m not leaving without breakfast!"
"This is a well-maintained, older motel, family-owned. It shows pride of ownership. It is a family doing their best to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed a comfortable bed, in a reasonable size room that had a small fridge with freezer, which we used to capacity, a microwave oven, a working and not too noisy AC unit. There are 14 units and we found the area to be quiet and peaceful, just far enough for the hustle of the main part of town. We really enjoyed the pool (heated with solar heating), 2 propane BBQs, in a nice private garden area with outdoor seating, including one set under a hard top shelter. We really appreciated that there was a blue bin recycling bin in the room. Most hotels we have visited do not provide that. While it is called "Lakeview", the view of the lake is minimal. A few decades ago, it likely had a greater lake view. However, because it is up the hill from the beach, there were lovely breezes that wafted up to the property, which we did not experience when we were at the beach. One of the public beaches is a short walk away, around the corner and down the hill. One guests we met said that Kincardine is where they have seen the best sunset. Recommended. We would go again, and hope to at some point. "
