"Clean hotel in a quiet location, back windows overlooking corn fields and the forest. Very good view. Rooms are clean and spacious. Owners are nice and welcoming. However, there are some concerns: Bathroom door lock has a bad design, it is very small and is located very close to the door jamb, easy to crush fingers when sliding the door closed. The lock is difficult to lock and unlock. Bathtub drains very slowly. Bathroom exhaust fan is not powerful enough. Continental breakfast is below average, there are no eggs or sausage, in fact, there is no hot prepared food - only cereal, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt. For the price paid, other hotels offer much better variety of food. The biggest safety concern is the parking lot - there is metal armature sticking out of the ground. Originally, there were rubber bumpers/separators installed between parking spots. These separators were secured to the asphalt with metal rebars. Many of the separators are not in their intended positions and the rebars are sticking out 6 inches on many places. It is easy to damage car tires or to trip over them. Owners should remove them asap to prevent accidents. Otherwise, it is a good place to stay."

"Our stay could not have been more perfect - we loved every single aspect of the Inn - celebrating my mom's 80th birthday. Nothing disappointed. The 4 bedrooms (with 4 private bthms) over the bar/lounge/dining area were gorgeous; we gave these 4 rooms & the small sitting area btwn to the aunts/uncles. A short hallway (with 2 privacy doors in between) connected to 2 more rooms, a bthm & small sitting area. We used these rooms for cousins/kids & squeezed 4 more single foam mattresses into the 2 bdrms for the "young" adults. The kids slept on the floor in the sitting area. Back on the main floor was the huge 7th bedroom (4 single beds, 1 double). The room was huge & could have easily accomodated another 1-2 queen blow up mattresses. The central kitchen at the back of the house had everything - a full fridge, chest freezer, oven, stove, 3 sinks, and more plates/cutlery/platters/bowls/pots/mugs/glasses than you'd ever need. The hot tub was loved by all - private, hot and big ! The bar area was perfection. The wood burning stove was a gorgeous gathering place all weekend. We loved the 2 built in dining nooks either side of the bar entrance (3 other tables are around the rm with large card tables & extra chairs also available). We used the space to easily feed 28 people. We easily projected a slide show on the wall, played charades, had a painting party, danced, partied & celebrated as a group of 28 people (not all sleeping over) creating unbeatable memories. We 100% recommend!"

"The house is lovely, and very well equipped, with a fantastic outdoor space and view of the lake. It was made cozy for our arrival with the gas fireplace on and outdoor lights to welcome us. Dalton was very communicative around booking, check in and check out. There were no problems so we had no need to reach out to him during our stay. I would love to rent this property again, in any season."
