"The barn conversion is set in stunning Shropshire scenery. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property is warm and comfortable with many original features. There was plenty of room for the 11 family members in our group - lots of comfy armchairs, and pretty bedlinen on all the beds. The kitchen was slightly small for so large a group but we managed without a problem. There is a large Sainsbury's store within easy reach and we found plenty to do."

"We stayed at Lodge 2 for 40 days, January 22nd - March 1st although basic was pleasant enough, our view each day was wonderful, would definitely recommend, neighbours were friendly, not dog friendly enough though (needs a gate on decking) although our dog loved it, couple of minor niggles (toilet seat) which I tried to repair, owners are very accommodating and friendly, all in all a very pleasant stay."

"Cronkhill is in a beautiful location, very well situated for exploring the fabulous Shropshire Hills and nearby Attingham Park. Cronkhill is a substantial house with a genuine farmhouse feel. It has a well stocked kitchen and the dining room easily seats 12-14 people. The lounge is spacious and the log fire is excellent (the chimney draws well and the fire gets going quickly). "The lodge is lovely, in the countryside and so peaceful. But our stay wasn’t restful as the beds were so uncomfortable. The visitors’ book has this issue flagged for more than a year. Also, the ‘key information’ section was empty on the booking confirmation and the Cottages.com team were helpful, but there was a bit of stress trying to gain the information about how to get into the lodge."
