Excellent hotel and restaurant right on the harbour front. Large modern renovated room, classy furnishing, new condition. Professional friendly staff. This is a city-style hotel, full service. Room naming is mis-leading: "Loft" is standard single-story hotel room with street view.
Tariff was above our budget, but worth it for the quality stay.

We were here for nearly 2 weeks & couldn’t fault anything. We walked everywhere with plenty to see in the city area. Enjoyed the harbour & river walks. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The room was a good size & excellent shower. Having a kettle was great for tea & coffee. The view of the Orwell River was nice.

Nicely refurbished hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, except that the heating was quite hot all night. Apart from that everything was fine. Breakfast was excellent. A huge variety and as much as you wanted. Very kind and obliging service. A five minute walk to the railway station.
