"This is a fabulous small and unique boutique hotel in a great location and setting. The plane tree in the square is magnificent. The Cathedral and other main attractions are close, the whole area very walkable.
The basement lounge and bar is very well designed, relaxing and a great asset. Great staff!"

"The Apex is in an very good location for walking to sites and restaurants. The staff is excellent and amongst our family we had 3 rooms, which were very clean and comfortable. We had dinner one night at their restaurant which was also very good. We would highly recommend this hotel."
"The hotel is beautiful Victorean property. The location is idyllic between the hills. The only issue was the narrow entrance and the lack of parking due to the tour buses the used 4 parking spots. Other than that, the hotel was a hit. I would definitely stay again. "

Extraordinary hospitality was experienced (thank you, Dick and”J”), and the breakfasts were the BEST we enjoyed during a three-week trip across Europe! Accommodations were very comfortable and close to public transport (if you’re traveling to Bath, etc). We enjoyed walking down the canal into Bradford for evening meals. It’s a truly special place. "Great place. It had everything we needed in the cottage. Very clean. Much more spa than we thought. Large bedrooms especially the double one. The only drawback was the big hill down to the village. Very steep, especially after a few drinks. "
"Absolutely amazing stay in the Tup shepherd's hut. There was so much care and attention to detail put into everything, it could not have been more perfect. Helen was a fantastic host and gave us all the info we needed and even helped family arrange a surprise for us. We had a beautiful view and even had rabbits outside. Bus from the end of the road was really handy for Bradford on Avon and Bath trips. Couldn't recommend more! "
