"The hotel was very convenient- walkable to the ferry system as well as excellent restaurants and museums in Heraklion. The breakfast was lovely and rooms and common areas beautiful. The staff in the dinner restaurant were wonderful but there were better and more interesting nearby choices to eat dinner meals. "

"Great location in central Heraklion. Room was large but the shower and sink in our room were located in the middle of the room (not a separate bathroom; the toilet is a WC in a separate room). It means zero privacy for the shower. The staff wasn't warm but everyone was nice enough. There are fantastic restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The port is also walking distance. There's a bus stop the other direction about 5 min away that goes to the airport or to Knossos. The...

"Wonderful breakfast, lovely room. A bit of mix up regarding city tax that was collected upon checking in and again at check out. No one informed us the tax was per night. I would have thought all taxes would have been collected at check in."

"Helped with luggage fast. No parking / chaotic to drop off luggage. Hotel was in a good spot - good recommendations for restaurants in the area. The pool area was a bit “run down” and the room was very small - we had a 3rd person in the room and the cot was very small with a very uncomfortable bed. Overall good area for one to reach the seaport "

"The Atrion hotel is modern, well kept, and comfortable. Our room had a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast buffet is ample and tasty. It is very convenient to many neighborhood restaurants, pharmacies, shopping, and an excellent drop-off laundry. We easily walked to the Archaeology Museum and the public bus to Knossos. The immediate surroundings are in poor repair with uneven or non existent sidewalks so that the first block of any walk requires close attention."
