"I never write reviews, but I really had to write this one. Because the physical appearance of the hotel was nice and fancy and everything, sure, but it is really the service that makes this a five star hotel. I had a day-long bout of food poisoning (from a nearby restaurant, definitely not the hotel) while I was staying there, and the whole staff went way way above and beyond in taking care of me, especially the head manager. They were also very helpful with regard to all my other needs and questions the rest of the time I was there. This is THE hotel to stay at in Crete if you want five star treatment."

"Location close to center of city and waterfront was great. Room was spacious and bathroom as well. The breakfast buffet was good yet modest. It was noisy at night as the major street runs right in front of the hotel."
