"Perfect place to stay away from the chaos of Heraklion! The food in the restaurant is AMAZING - definitely try the grilled mushrooms if you can (we had it twice)! The homemade white and red wine are also amazing! The room was clean and spacious, and the property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Nicolas was an amazing dinner host. We loved every minute of our stay! "

"We actually stayed at Villa Pasiphae for three months when we moved to Crete this spring. The house is spacious and well equipped, even for a stay as long as ours. We spent many hours on the roof terrace, relaxing and enjoying the view. There’s almost always a good breeze, which makes it a very pleasant place to while away a few hours with a bottle of wonderful Cretan wine. "Wonderful breakfast, lovely room. A bit of mix up regarding city tax that was collected upon checking in and again at check out. No one informed us the tax was per night. I would have thought all taxes would have been collected at check in."

The pool area was a bit “run down” and the room was very small - we had a 3rd person in the room and the cot was very small with a very uncomfortable bed. "A lovely traditional house in a typical Cretan village away from the tourist hotspots. Our host spoke good English and was very welcoming and helpful. The bakery sells wonderful trays of Baklava which we enjoyed on our spacious roof terrace, a great place for breakfast too. "

"I travelled for 24 hours from the US to this property to arrive to a place that didn’t have sheets, blankets or pillows on any of the beds. It was dirty, there was dirt and dead bugs on the floor and also no towels or wash cloths. After traveling for 24 hours, I just wanted to shower and go to bed but there was no way I could do that.
