"The building was in good condition, along with the property. It was clean. The staff was a bit pushy with costs. Overall good. Did not like $35 a day parking fee - that's complete BS on top of the daily rate. There is not much around beside the resort and beaches."

"Such an idyllic place to stay. The cottage was well appointed, the farm was beautiful and it was so peaceful. It was lovely being off the beaten path but still close to Hilo and many sights and activities. Hoping to return to this wonderful place."

"I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The room was phenomenal— from the decor to the amenities to the view! The breakfast prepared by Chef Joseph every morning was delicious, and was the perfect beginning for every day. It was fresh and tasty. The Friday night dinner was also prepared with so much thought and intention, each plate was so yummy and presented beautifully. We also loved the hot tub, it was a nice way to end our evening after exploring Hawai’i. Next time in town I’ll be back!"

"Beautiful setting and grounds. Very private, peaceful and relaxing. Well maintained and designed home. Great area for walks to enjoy the quiet, tranquil atmosphere. Great hosts who were very prompt in responding to our questions. The informative book with suggestions on dinning, etc was very helpful. Thanks again to our hosts, enjoyed our stay very much. "
