"We enjoyed staying here. It’s very simple and was a great value. Was concerned about not having A/C but being right off the ocean, there was always a breeze to keep it comfortable. The view from the deck is very nice for enjoying coffee in the morning. There is a small hill you have to go up; wasn’t an issue at all for us. There is a small town very close with a few restaurants. Would definitely stay here again."

"If you just need a place to spend the night, this is perfect. The price is reasonable. But it didn't turn out as we had expected for celebrating our anniversary. Our hostess was called away so we didn't have a chance to meet her. Note that the kitchenette is outside on the lanai. It could be better supplied, eg with cutting knives."

"We spent a week at pineapple cottage. We found it very restful and had beautiful sunrises. The owners were very generous with allowing us to try the fruit on the farm. All of the accommodations were comfortable and met our needs. We sat out every morning having coffee on the porch. We made special memories during our stay on the big island. We took several day trips to see local sites and do hikes. We were fortunate to experience the erupting of the volcano at Volcano National Park during our stay!"

"Beach View was better then any hotel. Away from the general public and tucked into the mountain was a big plus. House has almost everything u could ask for. Beach gear, all appliances, spacious living area. Only thing I could ask for was Ice. Ice machine was not producing ice. So grab a bag before u come up. This house is tucked away from into the mountains and isn't really near any sights. Expect everything to be at least an hour away to visit. My family and I didnt mind the drives. We didnt want to be around all the tourists and wanted our privacy. This house gives you all that and much much more."
