"Best hotel I have stayed in in New York. I will return. Friendly reception staff, a lovely chap who kindly upgraded our room - thank you for being so welcoming when we were so tired on arrival. The room was spacious and clean with all the amenities you could want and the breakfast really sets you up for the day. It felt smaller and more personal than others I have stayed in and we appreciated the tea, coffee, sweets and snacks which were available at any time on the ground floor. Great location...

"The hotel is in a great area off Times Square so it is quiet from the noise of Times Square while super convenient. However, the walls are thin so if you have a noisy neighbor than well it is noisy. It is slightly older so the rooms and amenities are slightly dated. The size of the room is slightly bigger than normal for this area. I took a star off since I asked for specific housekeeping service and they didn't provide it."

"Hotel Newton was closed for renovation and despite calls and requests to Expedia they continue to send messages that I would and did stay there."
