He said they had to do that to prove I gave my credit card and I said, “No. That’s not how this works.” He said they would shred it when I left and I said will you give it back to me when I leave and he said no. But I was welcome to not stay there. But he already ran my card and said it would be refunded in 4-5 days. So keeping my money to boot?!? This is likely illegal. I told him to refund me and I took the copy of my documents with me."
