Half Moon Bay has the beaches, the coastal walk and a cute downtown. Lots of restaurants and you can eat by the ocean. The weather is moderate all year round. Can get crazy crowded.

We were there on a Tuesday/Wednesday and it was so quiet with not a lot open. I guess it's nice at weekends. It was picturesque and I enjoyed running along the coastal path.

It's a beautiful area. Unfortunately the traffic going through town was horrendous everyday.

Sam's Chowder House is a must do. There's a bike path from the hotel to Granada. The downtown is quaint but most places close at 6 pm.
