This spot was quite far from the station. There was nothing around the hotel in this area. The view from the Room (waterfall and mountain) was gorgeous. Staff were very helpful and kind to us for late dinner and shuttle bus requests. Only disappointment was the public onsen bath. I didn't smell any mineral water in the bath. Hakone is famous for onsen but I was disappointed.

Beautiful traditional hotel at the edge of Hakone National Park. The public onsen was glorious- and we also had a private onsen attached to our room. There was a slight mix up with booking dinner in advance, where my messages via Expedia were answered initially but then not confirmed. But we then had the buffet dinner instead which worked really well for us. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I'd definitely go back!

折角の部屋付温泉でしたが、浴槽の栓が明らかにサイズが合ってなく勢いよく漏れているのでお湯の溜まりが遅いです。 お湯が勿体ない。 残念だったのはその点のみで、食事の材料がとても良く、非常に美味しかったです。 駐車場の入庫から、部屋までご案内も頂き親切丁寧でした。 是非また利用させて頂きたいので、内風呂だけ何とかならないでしょうか…。

Shuttle bus and local bus to and from hotel and station. Personal onsen in the bathroom and full onsen available. Lovely woodland and valley views. Comfortable Ryokan style rooms. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Good experience

Hotel is clean, and its service is good. The included dinner is pretty good. Hot spring is amazing and not crowded at all. Location is the only drawback. Have to take a bus from hakone-yumoto station, and not so easy to find.

レストランがネック。

レストランが充実してないので、食事付きプランをお勧めします。となりといっても５分ほど歩きますが、日帰り温泉があり、そこのレストランを使う手はあります。また、7時前の朝早い時間の場合、タクシーの予約が出来ない可能性があります。タクシーは前日からの予約をお勧めします。私は20分超駅まで歩きました。晴れていて気持ちよかったのでのですが、雨だときついです。これはホテルの問題というよりは地域の問題ですね。仕事での立ち寄り泊でしたが、やはり温泉はイイですね。及第点だと思います。コストをうまく抑えるならありです。

おくゆもとに泊まってみて

すくも亭に宿泊した。二人ではもて余すくらいに広々とした部屋、家族やグループで過ごすのもいいと思う。窓からは雪景色、滝の音も相まって、いよいよ豊かな自然を感じられる。露天風呂は日常を忘れさせてくれ、かなりリフレッシュ！部屋内の檜の内風呂温泉もグッド！朝食はビュッフェで、思わず食べ過ぎてしまった…焼きたてのホットケーキが食べられる。夕食はステーキ食べ放題らしいが次回挑戦できたらいいなあ。

ゆったりと快適に過ごせました

すくも亭に宿泊しました。湯本駅からのバスの無料送迎は一時間に二本です。 部屋の内装は新しく、非常に気持ち良く過ごせました。 夕食はハーフバイキングで、テーブルに用意されたものだけでも私には十分でした。フルーツやアイスクリームなどデザートは取りにいくのですが、熱々の天ぷらやステーキは注文すれば何度でもテーブルまで運んでくれます。朝食はバイキングでした。朝夕食ともにおいしかったので、ついつい食べ過ぎてしまいました。 何よりも素晴らしかったのはスタッフの皆さんの皆笑顔と心配りの行き届いたテキパキとした接客でした。 快適に過ごせた二日間でした。
