"We have stayed at The Shalimar Hotel, every year for last at least 30 years now, as it was good for all the amenities and staff were very friendly and looked after us very well! This time, there were too many issues, which I have submitted to the hotel on their feedback firm and I was very verbal too with complaints. "1st room they gave us the AC was leaking. The shower and toilet was 1 tiny room. So uncomfortable. 2nd room the cover of the AC was loose, thought it would fall on our head as it was above the bed. Finally the 3rd room was ok..we stayed 4 nights room was only cleaned once. Took 3 rooms for us to get some what comfortable. As id already paid online i couldn't change this hitel. "The hotel behind Saifee Hospital. A side entrance a bit difficult to locate. No elevators..one has to climb 2sets of stairs/2x21=42 straight steps!!! Few rooms smelled high humidity.. the whole inside walls was tiled with what looks like rcream bricks and outline done with green marble. Positive:
