"This was our first Vrbo so we were nervous, but the venue was beautiful and clean and everything we needed. We were attending a wedding nearby so wanted something convenient but could house us. It did not disappoint. We took several walks to the creek and enjoyed being able to spend time together but also have our separate spaces. Our phones didn’t have service there but the WiFi was excellent and the owner responded in a reasonable time with a couple questions we had. "

"10 of us headed to unknown terrirtory--stayed in Sewanee to attend a concert (Irish band "Altan") at The Caverns. We wanted a place we could all be together (ha, we travel in a herd) and wanted a place where we would not disturb anyone as we love our music, competitive games (ha). This place was PERFECT! "Cute house! Perfect for 3 and wonderful location! Needs a good deep cleaning to clear spider webs, dust and scuff marks throughout. But those are very minor. Would definitely recommend and hope to rent it again!"

This cottage emulates what is so special about Sewanee….a chance to get away from the fast paced world and slow down to enjoy God’s creation, with belived family and friends. It was great for our daughter (Sewanee 2020 alum) to be able to get back on the mountain with college friends and this location made it easy for us to enjoy all of the wedding festivities and “walk home”."

"Great little place for our family (2 teens, 2 young adults, 2 parents) to stay while we visited Chattanooga. Loved that it was away from the business of the city, but an easy drive to Chattanooga (about 20 mins). Had everything we needed and we enjoyed the 2 dogs that came to visit us on the porch while we ate dinner."

"Beautiful very clean home nestled in the woods Very quiet. Great location for those wanting to spend time in nature Greeter Falls nearby. Rock Island state Park and Fall Creek Falls within an hour drive."

"We loved this place ! My family of 4 visited Monteagle to hike at South Cumberland State Park. The house was cozy and the perfect place to hang out after hiking. The house was welcoming and so clean ! We enjoyed the screened in porch and the big screen TV in the den to watch some football !"

"This spot was perfect for our one-night visit to the Caverns - we left wishing we had some extra time to explore the Retreat at Deer Lick Falls more thoroughly. The Deciduous Dreams tiny house was just right - well laid out, comfortably furnished and very clean. The out door fire pit looked so inviting we may have to come back just to try it out!"

Offers everything you need to enjoy a getaway in the woods. 4 stars because there was trash outside in the yard of the property (which I picked up), confusion with the WiFi due to sending me expired information and then insisting I was wrong, and because I found the cleanliness to be less than ideal. But overall, nice trip, great amenities."
