"This was the perfect solution for us. Our son graduated from UTC Saturday morning and then we helped him move out of his apartment that was located literally across the street. Ample space and amenities for the short time we actually spent in the room. The basement room was a bit chilly, but we prefer that when we sleep so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. A previous review complained about the water not getting hot, but we found that it just took a while to heat up. Both the shower and sink knobs...

"Phyllis was great. We showed her the grill had a little damage, just to make sure she was aware of it and didn't think we had damaged it. She immediately purchased a new grill, and had it set up for us within the hour. Will definitely be back. Cell phone service is limited, and wifi is unavailable, but i really enjoyed unplugging from electronics for 5 days. Thanks for the stay."

"The stay was non-refundable from the moment we booked. Turns out, we were only able to stand staying for 2 of the 9 nights we paid for. We wouldn't have stayed more than the 1st night, but after spending so much money, we tried. We arrived on a super cold night (13°) at 3:30 in the morning. There were no lights on so that we could see the unit easily & it was 53° inside the unit. We froze that night because we couldn't find the thermostat in the dark.
