Perched high above the Sequatchie Valley in Chattanooga Tennessee, our beautiful Log Cabin in the Clouds is more than just a rental—it’s a legacy. Built with care and vision, this rustic yet timeless cabin has welcomed guests from near and far who come seeking both adventure and serenity.
Every sunrise paints the mountains in golden light, and every sunset melts into the
valley below, creating a backdrop that visitors never forget. Guests consistently rave

Avoid the Crowds at your own beautiful cabin with a spectacular view! With so many beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and free things to do, you have the option to get away from the crowds while still being able to visit all the wonderful attractions and restaurants in the Scenic City of Chattanooga. Our cabin is the perfect place for your romantic vacation or just an exciting getaway! Enjoy the fresh air, Hot Tub, 3-D TV, beautiful sunsets, playing board games, relaxing in the hot tub, or roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. See why our guests say that the pictures simply don't do it justice! We have also just completed many wonderful upgrades including a brand new Heating and Air unit, water heater, new carpet in the bedroom, along with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and secure! We take great care and pride in making sure our cabin is aired out, cleaned, and sanitized. Our cabin is located on the timeline separating Central and Eastern time so we reference Eastern time for check in and out.
Our check in times are 4:00 Eastern time and check out is 11:00 Eastern time. The clocks in the cabin are set for Eastern time.

I absolutely know why this cabin has five stars! The host, Captain Kerry, was the most hospitable, kind host. He was so easy to communicate with at all times. The house is perfect! The view is absolutely beautiful!

Great post-wedding getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as a miniature honeymoon. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the view from the porch was fantastic. Would recommend for anybody wanting a simple getaway near Chattanooga.

We reserved this cabin for our 30th wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday (which were both in the same week). This cabin did NOT disappoint! It was clean, organized and had everything we needed. The view of the valley down below is awesome. We would highly recommend this cabin for couples or a small family. There's restaurant about 15 minutes away called River Drifters. We highly recommend eating there also. The food was great and you definitely get your monies worth.

Lovely place

This place was perfect for 2 people for 3 nights. It was on top of mountain and had beautiful view of woods and mountain. We loved to wake up and sit on porch and have our coffee. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. We would definitely stay here agin.

Captain’s Cabin

The drive is easy for any flat landers wanting to know. The view set the mood, melts away any thoughts of politics . My only complaint is that I didn’t book the stay for longer! Would recommend and would stay again.

What an awesome little cabin. Very comfortable and relaxing place. Hot tub was great and what a view looking over the valley down below. Great communication with the check in. We have already booked for next year.

Really enjoyed our stay! Super fun drive back and forth from cabin. Ridiculous view, often above the clouds; great porches, both covered. Property manager super communicative both for check-in, virtual walk through and any time we had an issue. Property as described, but be sure you note that the bedroom and only bath are downstairs accessible by a spiral staircase.
