We have visited family here often over the past five years. Nice town with nice people. We noticed a few new restaurants and neighborhoods have been built. The town is a short drive from Chattanooga but traffic can be heavy due to road construction.

Hixson was a very convenient location surrounding a lot of the activities that we would be doing. Outside of town just enough to not be in the middle of everything but close enough that the drive didn't take long for anything we wanted to do.

"Just a one night stay and loved the location. I’ve stayed before in a rail car, but never the hotel. It was nice, staff was friendly, and the room was very spacious. My only complaint is the wash cloths in the bathroom were stained and the two left in the shower were damp. So, they could not be used. Other than that, loved it, and would definitely stay again."
"Had a very nice day. Enjoyed the free meals and drinks. Very easy to park. All the staff was very friendly. The elevators were very fast. Never had to wait very long at all if any to ride the elevator to the 8th floor. Very nice rooms. Very well kept. Love the shower"
