We visited early May and it appeared that not all restaurants/cafes were completely open. But we managed just fine. Everything is easy to get to, weather was great so we walked quite a bit. E-biking to Hermit's Nest is highly recommended.

It is a place for memories, with multiple hotel options. Went to Mather Point to watch the sunrise which is a lifetime experience that should not be missed. So much natural beauty with amazing accessibility.

Liked the frequent availability of the shuttles. Number of things to see in one location. Easily walkable to see sunrises. Lots of dining options close by. Felt safe. Lots of parking.

Great place to easily access views of the Grand Canyon. The mile walk from El Tovar along the rim was very easy.

Check in at daylight. There's not enough lighting to find the exact location of the room if you will be checking in at night. It's dark. Parking was sufficient during our stay. They have their own restaurant and convenience store.

The only benefit about staying in the village are the buses & the drivers are great. Informational, polite with a sense of humor. Other than that I think one could stay outside the village, probably a more modern place with parking

It would have been perfect if we had better option for food. We reached there after 10 pm and did not find any place to eat in Grand Canyon Village. Other than that, we had a good time there.

We loved our stay at the Grand Canyon as we had never been and it was breathtaking! The hotel was beautiful. The walkways around the canyon to view were amazing.
"The hotel was very nice. Comfortable, clean. The atrium was amazing. The food was good. The customer service was outstanding. Cost was a little more than I usually pay, but worth every dime."
"Beautiful establishment inside the park, made it easy to get to the south rim. Reminded me of summer camp when I was a kid. Had a food hall, over priced but fun to pick different things and eat in the chow hall. "
"I absolutely loved my lodge room on the rim! I was steps away from hiking, restaurants and great views! The room was cozy, clean and renovated. I hiked the bright angel trail at sunrise and it was absolutely wonderful to have it so close!
The only downside was no AC, I knew that booking it and don’t regret anything. There are fans and the windows open..totally worth the experience!
Highly recommend!"
