Die Lage direkt am Rim ist ein Traum. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Man kann die Fenster öffnen und die gute Luft am Canyon genießen. Es war auch sehr ruhig in der Nacht

Rooms were basic but clean. Beds are comfortable. Location is excellent. Close to shuttles to get around park. Restaurants were excellent. There were 4 restaurants less than a 5 minute walk. We would stay there again on another trip to the park.

The room was clean, but hot. The air was on, but did not cool the room enough to sleep comfortably. The canyon was gorgeous, of course. The location is great except be aware check in is at the Angle lodge. The good restaurants want a reservation.

It was on the rim - so that’s special. Nothing else special about it though. The room was small and was almost clean. The beds were almost comfortable. The parking was a horrendous adventure. Several stairs to go up and down even though the room was on the lowest floor. Bare bones service and amenities for a high price. Waking up inside the canyon made it convenient to see the sunrise.

Such a wonderful place to be that its hard to criticize. For $300 a night, our tv was snowy and it couldn't be completely fixed. Of course we're not there for tv.

The property is older same as all the other lodges inside the South Rim Village but that adds to the charm and history. Rooms were clean and beds fairly comfortable. We were there for the amazing views of the Grand Canyon anyway. There was a massive power outage due to fire risk the day before we arrived and power was just coming back on so unfortunately not all restaurants were open. They did have a good truck and two other locations to get a quick bite. No big deal and we really enjoyed our stay at the Thunderbird.

Being able to walk directly out to the rim of the Grand Canyon was amazing. Especially for sunrise. Not many amenities to speak of though. Lodging is very dated, but clean and comfortable.

Our first time staying inside the park at Grand Canyon. We loved it. The gift shops are nearby. All the staff was helpful. The room had a great view and was just a very very short walk to the the room. There was a couple of deer outside our window. My only complaint is the parking. We were told when we checked in it was first come first serve. I get it, but parking isn't only for hotel guests. Many park visitors utilize the parking spots. We spent 20 minutes driving around looking for a spot. We would definitely stay here again.
