Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This is a beautiful resort! Very nice and clean. Our mattress was high in the center and lower on the sides and made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. We informed the staff and they responded appropriately. Staff in other areas seemed not as friendly or helpful.
Stayed in their “Cliffs” property. SAVE YOUR MONEY! It was obviously a renovated old hotel, and nothing about it was worthy of the “5-star resort” prices we paid. No valet when we needed our car, poor air conditioning, no closets in room and very few drawers. At least 6 flights of outdoor stairs to get down to the “real resort” -lobby, spa, bar and restaurant. Beautiful view of Sedona that you could get from ANY other property on the main rd. for MUCH CHEAPER prices. Save your money for restaurants or other experiences; rent at a different property or Airbnb.
View from room was fabulous! However, noise level was horrendous. Sounded like a heard of elephants was above us. Got very little sleep. Offered a bungalow instead but it took too long so left early. Lost some expensive diamond earrings. Don’t expect to see them again.
First room
Was terrible they gave us a better room. Rooms are to far away from lobby. Had to drive. Had problems with shower for 2 nights, never got fixed. Very expensive for the service we got. Even had to call for toilet paper. Had a good view,
It was amazing and the setting was wonderful. The service was excellent especially the golf cart rides to town any time you want it. The setting near a stream was absolutely amazing.
Check in was extremely easy. All of the staff is beyond courteous. They cannot do enough for you. The property is absolutely stunning to get up and watch the sunrise was spectacular with the beautiful rock formations. The bed pillows and linens are superb quality their room is beautifully decorated, and the amenities are top-notch. I can’t wait to come back
Very serene and luxurious place to relax for the weekend.

Cliffs (old orchard hotel) has really thin walls and ceilings - listened to the people above us walk around all night and housekeeping vacuum at 9am. They said they left chocolates for us in the room but there wasn’t any (we let them know and they assured us it was there) Don’t say you left something for us but didn’t, it’s just weird…
Hot tub was broken. Fitness room was subpar.
We stayed at this same hotel before the remodel/rebrand and it was 1/3 of the cost then. Did not feel it was worth the 3x price.
Location and view were the best perks
