Katchina Lodge is right on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Great location, reasonable price, it was easy to explore, eat, souvenir shop, right at our door.
You can not beat the location and the views. Staff was super helpful as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Scenery was absolutely amazing but parking was very limited. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Some of the areas in the hotels and around the area could use some updating.
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room. "Partial Canyon View" room actually has a great view of the Grand Canyon. Recommend treating yourself to dinner in the El Tovar dining room.
Typical National Parks accommodations, old, beaten and battered, in need of modernization. View out the window was great though.

Liked: Cleanliness
The room was very clean and well maintained.
However, for some reason, the toilet paper did not flush properly in one go. Even though the water flow itself seemed fine, the toilet paper would swirl around and remain floating, and it usually required flushing twice for it to go down completely.
Excellent location on Canyon Rim. Great view from room, underrated. Room was old, tight, lots of broken parts. Not very clean. Staff was nice. Location was worth the issues.
Location and views are amazing. Loved to have options for dining walking distance. This is a magical area to stay in. Hotel and room are OK, but the location and area is just amazing. Parking was difficult when checking in the afternoon.
The staff is excellent and the location is unbeatable. The room is dated and small but seeing as we were 10 yards from the rim of the grand canyon, who cares! Parking is a bit of a challenge but we knew that when we made the reservation. So glad we stayed here
