"The property was well situated and the room was very acceptable. What I didn’t like was the car transfer from the airport arranged by the concierge … a half hour ride with an average driver cost over $400 … almost a third again on the price of the room .. "We had an extended stay at Palihouse, we enjoyed the hotel and staff. The bar and restaurant were great, as is the location. We loved the design and space of the hotel. Room was clean and comfy. "Enjoyed our experience but not too keen on the curtain gate for our cars and seeing that there’s a lot of run down RVs in surrounding area , left us feeling a little weary w our car and coming in late. I did not especially like guests and workers leaving out the exit to the street right by our hotel door. It just allows someone to enter easily. Thankfully they do have cameras and security so that eased our mind a little. But overall it was great 6 day experience. "

"If you are looking for something upscale-move on. But this is one great little hotel 2 blocks from one of the best beaches in the country- Santa Monica! Nothing fancy, just a comfortable place to sleep with a patio outside your door overlooking the pacific-DIVE IN. When you're hungry great restaurants abound, or bring some food along there is a little kitchenette. Everyone was very nice and totally accommodating. Book it!"

"I stay in the area weekly for work and usually stay at the Marriott. I wanted away from the big chain and not great service so I tried Beverly Terrace. I love boutique hotels when I travel and opted for the same for work. This place is perfect. So quaint and comfortable. I had a lovely meal next doors that was excellent and reasonably priced for the area."

"The hotel was in the process of finishing up the remodeling of the rooms on the first floor. One elevator was not working for the first day and the working elevator was very slow. The hotel was in the process of changing the floor levels. Floor 1 was changed to floor 2, floor 2 to floor 3 etc. They posted some signs, but it was still very confusing and at one point our room key did not work. They did advise us ahead of time the issue with the key. However the room was very clean and...
