We stayed 1 night. The room was very well equipped. Very clean and comfortable, in a great location. Staff were amazing and the breakfast outstanding. Loved it, thank you!
What a peaceful place to stay during our time in the Oxford area! We really enjoyed the countryside views and early morning visits from the deer and rabbits. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Please note that you will need to drive by car between the farm and Oxford city center. The location can be confusing for taxi drivers.
We loved our stay here, a beautiful quiet property and the room and facilities are lovely. Laura was quick to reply to questions. The breakfast was really good, a nice hearty English breakfast and the staff are very friendly. Will stay again.,
Graham was very hospitable and made our check-in quick and easy. The room was perfect and we loved the ambiance (horse farm) and quiet. The peacock outside our bathroom window was especially charming.
Laura and Graham were absolutely wonderful and most helpful. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had; everything was so fresh and of top quality. The property itself is absolutely stunning; we were easily able to walk in to the main city centre along the scenic river route. The welcome guide in the room gave some fantastic recommendations of what to do in the area and we only wish we’d stayed for more than one night, so we could check them all out. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend. Thank you for having us!

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Nice property. Nice owner. Not that easy to get to town. We hate the British round abouts 😬
Not happy with EXPEDIA. Even with insurance I couldn’t get a refund on a trip mistake I found immediately. Not Consumer friendly.
Property was further outside Oxford than we thought. Room was small and not as spacious as we thought it would be. Bathroom was very clean with big bath towels and hot water for a shower. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit, hot toast and tasty coffee.
We were met and greeted by the charming Joseph who showed us to our room,a little bijou , as was the bed and shower,! but acceptable for a one night .
Breakfast was a short jaunt to the smart club house situated in the horse menage, we were served a wonderful full breakfast and great coffee, where we were most fortunate to watch some show jumping practise.
We chose Hill Farm due to its convenient location for Oxford city, villages and key places we visited. Laura greeted us and showed us to the room which was small but beautifully appointed; we were offered the opportunity to upgrade for a fee which we would do if staying more than one night. Full of amenities (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, glass bottled water - a good brand, biscuits etc). Kettle, hair dryer and ironing facilities, sewing kit and a full range of bathroom products. Comfortable beds and bedding - hypnose brand.
Location is secure behind electric gates and rooms are all around a court yard. Outside area is pretty and well kept.
Breakfast 8-9am and a choice of full English or continental. Lovely bread, croissants and a decent full English. Much better than many hotel buffet breakfasts that are 4*! Be aware this is served in a beautiful club house- a 3 minute short walk (or 1 min drive) opposite horse show ground. Lovely to watch.
Staff/ owners are friendly and the location is very peaceful.
Definitely would stay again but would always recommend to check the site’s own website prices as they can be better!
Great private site and felt safe.
Room was Iovely - clean, well appointed and very comfortable bed with high end linens. Nice big bathroom with tub and shower. Beautiful views of a meadow and very quiet. We loved that it was out of the way but others may want to be closer to Oxford.

Lovely B&B With a Couple of Issues
Lovely room with great amenities. Housekeeper Gemma was great and made a lovely breakfast. Easy, free parking. Wish that there was someone available to address issues that came up in the evening when our door lock would not open. We had to force open the back door. We were on our own until the owner emailed us back the next morning. Shower was insanely hot - too hot and probably a waste of energy. Please include instructions on how to operate the heat.
Nice stay, easy onsite parking through remote gates leading to property. Good breakfast located a short stroll away at the show jumping club house. Peaceful setting.
Delightful B&B at the edge of Oxford. Would certainly recommend if you are in the area. They have secure parking and are a short walk to a couple of local pubs.
Lovely site with good rooms. Peaceful and charming with easy access to John Radcliffe Hospital. However, there was a peacock shrieking outside our room all night so sleep was difficult. Otherwise I would highly recommend this facility.
Good breakfast, nice vibe, but the room was tiny with the smallest bed I ever seen. Also, not much response from the hosts regarding time of arrival, additional service etc
Comfortable bed and great cooked breakfast. Downside was having to walk outside in wind and rain to get to the clubhouse in the next field for breakfast. Only one tea bag each per day in the room and kettle kept switching itself off before boiling.
Breakfast was very limited but ok
Rooms are ok
Very friendly hosts.
Location as expected for my trip close to Oxford.
This property is advertised as an upmarket I dont think this is the case. I would be more careful with the choice of words as expecations can vary widely.
