brilliant accomodation in a perfect location
shopping trip with friends.Fab location,friendly helpful staff left luggage as too early for check in no problem.apartment spacious clean & extras like tea coffee milk butter nice toiletries lovely fluffy white towels,comfy beds good shower although very high ! only - would be a security light at bedroom windows went on & off all night so take an eye mask! nothing can be done about that.Brilliant very resonably priced def recommend

Location is great.
Nice place. I had to wait over 2 hours for my room to be ready so was given the penthouse instead. i stayed during a heat wave and the Aircon didn't work. We were given fans but all they did was blow warm air around with the force of butterfly wings. The rooms were very comfortable. Location is perfectly placed in Glasgow. 2 mins away from Queen street station and airport bus stop. despite its central location its not to affected by noise to much. i would stay here again but i do think the prices is around £50-70 too expensive.

This hotel really fell short of our expectations, based on the pictures and other online reviews. It doesn't have a lobby or front desk staffed round the clock. When we arrived in our room, there was strong, lingering smell of some kind of cleaner like bleach that gave us a headache and we couldn't get rid of by opening the window. The bathroom didn't come close to matching the photos online. The couch was so worn you could see the wood frame coming through the torn upholstery. After 20 minutes, we decided the room wasn't going to work for us and left to find another hotel. The staff was understanding and did give us a partial refund according to the Orbitz. Policy.

Another Fabulous Stay in my Favourite Place!
I’ve been sad to read some negativity from others booking here, having now had over 8 years of consistently fabulous stays. Just spent a week based here with my partner on holiday in Scotland. Couldn’t wish for more. The apartments are spacious and well appointed, and the staff are so helpful and accommodating. It is in the epicentre of Glasgow city so some night noise is to be expected! It’s a bustling, lively city that enjoys a fabulous nightlife. However, there are some suites that have back facing bedrooms that are much quieter. I’ve already booked another stay in December. You’d pay as much for a budget hotel, but if you want space, privacy, separate bedroom and kitchen facilities and a lovely bathroom then this is the place for you.

Good central location for rail or bus - however, little to no noise cancellation from street. Bars, karioki, loud drunk patrons to the early morning, garbage collection trucks - all sound as if in the room until 2 or 3 AM.

Check in was easy. Once we got to our floor / room, an overpowering smell of bleach was in the air. Room was large and bright. Walking distance for great shopping etc.

Great location and very spacious and well equipped apartment. Beds were very comfortable. However our apartment was inward facing and we could hardly open any windows which didn’t help as room was quite hot even though it was around 15 degs outside. Also could do with redecorating. But that said it suited my brother and myself instead of a hotel.

Great location, terrible property.
This place is terrible. I do not recommend it. First, it was impossible to find, and even businesses across the street had no idea where/what it was. Second, the apartment and the building were kept unbearably hot with no way to adjust it. The windows only opened a few inches at most, and all the interior doors closed automatically, so getting air flow throughout the apartment was impossible. We had windows and doors propped open the entire stay, with pillows and whatever else we could find. There was a broken glass in the dish washer, a broken fan in the closet, and a shower drain that was extremely clogged, which shows a general lack of care and poor attention to detail. The noise was constant, day and night, from both inside and out. The only positive thing about this property is the location. It's right in the heart of downtown, near shopping and restaurants, and the train station is a block away. Do not stay here.

As our reception is not on the ground floor and we have secure door entry for the security of all of our guests, I can understand we can be harder to find than a regular hotel. Our receptionists or on call manager are available at all times to help with any directions needed.We do not have air conditioning and all apartments have self closing fire doors for health and safety. Overall disappointed without our stay here. After booking we were hit by an absolute barrage of paperwork with a long list rules and requirements and we were forced to pay a large deposit in case of any damage. We arrived and the first thing that hit us was the heat in the hallway outside the apartment. It was literally like a sauna and when we went into the apartment we found it was uncontrollably hot too despite it being colder outside. The facilities were basic. The shower was over the bath and controlled by the 2 taps - shower was poor. Suffice to say one stay was enough for us. The

We want all of our guests to feel as safe as possible in our apartments which is why we ensure every guest is aware of all rules and all guests pay a security deposit so there is no excessive noise etc and all guests are comfortable.As we are an older building, it keeps the heat in very well. Great location and easy check in process, excellent communication. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. There is no air conditioning, but it was more than comfortable with the provided fan. There were times when it got a little noisy outside with the windows open, but nothing that would keep you up unless you are a very light sleeper. The location is excellent, with pubs and restaurants nearby, and so much to see and do within a short walk. Glasgow is lovely and friendly city and I would love to visit again and will probably stay at Premier Suites Plus again. Gregg's and Pret Manger are just outside the doors and perfect for a morning bite. I highly recommend Chaakoo Bombay Cafe a short walk down St Vincent Place for some excellent Indian & Persian food.

Pro's, spacious, secure, central to transport, shopping and sites (basically everything). Separate bedroom with very comfortable bed. Cons, can be a bit noisy at nights due to pub and street noise, especially weekends. No blackout curtains in bedroom (sunrise at 4.30). In general a really good place to stay, we totally enjoyed our stay here.

We had a lovely 2 bedroom unit, with lots of room. Excellent features. Only concern we had was that the office had promised to put our stored luggage (from previous week trip) into our room so it would be there when we arrived late. Unfortunately we had to wait until next morning to get it.

Excellent room with view over George Square. Large rooms, with everything we needed. Fabulous place to stay. My only issue was with office hours, as everything seems to be done at last minute, and since we were arriving late, and had tours booked early some days, there was too little chance to get contact with office people.

Great room but no close parking
We loved Premier Suites Glasgow George Square; however we were very disappointed that parking for our vehicle was so far away and inconvenient. Hotels.com indicated that parking was available, but in fact there really wasn't anywhere to drop off luggage with a vehicle. The Q-Park Jamaica lot is fine, but quite a walk from Premier Suites with two heavy pieces of luggage. How are customers reasonably expected to navagate that distance with baggage and no real unloading zone and time to do so? Aside from that, Premier Suites was a fantastic hotel in the very heart of Glasgow. We loved the room and cleanliness.

The two bedroom apartment was nicely remodel, in great condition, clean and a great location, right on George Square The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the apartment we stayed in had no views as advertised. The bedroom's and living room windows both opened to air circulation shafts with no view whatsoever.

Parking for this property was a real issue. Unable to unload luggage at the door, having instead to park and haul it the quarter mile from the designated spot; being given erroneous information from the start about rates and how to claim the discount, we were £22 out of pocket the first day with no way to reclaim it, due to a policy change that the hotel neglected to advise us about. Not an auspicious start. The rooms were spacious and light, the number of posted rules about electrical usage daunting and confusing. We are an educated family but still required assistance to work the coffee pot and hob due to all the restrictions, instructions and switches. The washer/dryer unit was disgustingly filthy, mold grew freely and was resistant even to disinfectant wipes. The dryer never worked at all, as we discovered after resetting it for a straight 12 hours overnight, effectively countering all the electricity we had saved the company otherwise. The clothes were not affected in the least, so were hung throughout the apartment to dry. The heated towel rack, which could not be turned off as the valves were so corroded, served as a decent drying place for our smalls. Other than being the absolutely perfect location, there is nothing I can say to recommend Premier Suites Plus.

Regarding the parking at Q-park, we have filed a complaint as they did not let us know about the change of policy regarding the discount tickets no longer working at the machine. We found out once we received complaints about the discount not working and only then were we made aware of the change to prebooking to receive the discount. We were delighted to be at such a centrally located hotel. The rooms were spacious, the view was HORRENDOUS. We stared at a black wall above the alley that had all kinds of noise from intoxicated pedestrians doing who knows what. We used the washer/dryer machine the first night we got there and our clothes were soaked after we tried to dry them using the dryer setting to no avail. I called the after hours number for help and was told my soaking wet clothes wasn’t an emergency and they would deal with in the morning. I remarked what if I was getting on an early flight what would I do with soaking wet clothes and was told but your not so why complain? Really? That’s the customer service? So they came up at 0900 the next morning w/o a technician and, once discovering I wasn’t fabricating my story their solution was for me to drag my wet clothes across the hall to an empty suite (with fabulous views), after 3 hrs of trying to dry my clothes (which I now realize never went through a dry spin cycle during the wash), I announced half of my day in Glasgow was wasted and I was leaving. They said housekeeping would take of the my clothes. No mention of calling a technician in to fix the washer/dryer combo in my unit was ever offered. I returned hours later to find my wet clothes still in the dryer across the hall! I finally got a clothes dryer (free standing wobbly stand) which I put my clothes on and waited until the morning we left to pack because they were still damp. RIDICULOUS!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback on your stay. I apologies that you had issues with your dryer during your stay. Our emergency out of hours number is only used is states of emergencies for example leaks and power outages. I apologies if you did not feel the customer service was the standard we normally provide. As soon as our office was open at 9am, and the dryer in the room opposite was deemed as working, we offered for you to use the room for your full use to use the dryer. All clothes horses were unfortunately being used in the morning but were able to locate one for you once apartments had checked out. When you had came back down to reception regarding your clothes again after using another apartment, we offered to hang up your clothes as we thought that the dryer was not working. After investigating, the dryer was very hot so it was not hung up as the dryer was working effectively and everything should have dried.As you have booked a 2 bedroom apartment, we do not advertise any view with these apartments as they all face inwards. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Glasgow.Thank you

The property itself was just okay, but it is old and worn. The furniture & windows were a bit tattered. The worst part was our "view" outside our windows. We overlooked a filthy, stinky alley with garbage in the streets. The odors emanating were disgusting.

Property is excellent and very spacious. Only two things to note. There is a £250 deposit payable before check in. This is not a hold on a CC but an actual payment and refund. The request for payment came via email and text with click through links to their payment site. While these are legitimate this is a method commonly used by scammers and I believe it to be very bad practice to use this method to request a payment. I raised this with the onsite staff but they were not able or willing to discuss it. To be clear , while this is bad practice, it did not cause us any problems and I would stay here again.

Stayed for one night and would've liked to have booked for a longer stay. It was a bit noisy at night (you could hear the neighbors), not so much city noises. A little more up-keep would've been nice, but overall a comfortable stay.
