"Rosa delle Alpi is an exquisite boutique hotel with large and spacious rooms and only 12 rooms on a very large natural oversized acreage with the most incredible staff. they also have the best chefs and incredible meals for dinner at below market pricing. when we arrived late at the Varenna train station in a pouring rain storm. One of the managers came personally to pick us up because no uber, no taxis. it’s about half hour trip to the Hotel. the property is exquisite with wood and stone...

"Beautiful location with direct views to lake Como and mountains. Just a few yards from shore of the lake which has a pebbly beach. Great for swimming. Some good restaurants around and just across the road from the railway station. Amazing setting! The breakfast (Halal) is really good and sitting in the garden looking at the lake and mountains is bliss! Very helpful staff. It's one of the best 3* hotels we've stayed in."

"Absolutely fantastic hotel to stay. Family of four (2 kids). We were up on the top floor beside the pool (room 202) with a very nice view of the lake. Staff all are very nice and amazing. Breakfast every morning with lake view is an absolute bonus, coffee, croissants, fruits for kids was very helpful to start the day easier. Parking inside was easy and extremely convenient.
