Golf Weekend
The six of us (all males) were completely happy with the accommodation with plenty of room and layout of the house suits our requirements perfectly. We will be trying to rebook this house for the same time next year as we are all there for a golf tournament.

We loved our stay in this surprisingly spacious house. Nice and cool on scorching hot days. Great location - just a short wander through the park to the town centre. Toys to amuse the kids and a couch for everyone!! Just note that the bookabach site says there is a pool and there is not one - just so you aren’t disappointed’n

Wonderful venue for a group of keen stitches. Lounge area allows for plenty of room for us to all spread out. Perfectly situated to be able to walk to town centre. Will be back without a doubt.

Convenient and comfortable
We only stayed here overnight but the house was very comfortable, spacious and close to town via a walkway and bridge over the nearby river. This house is set up for families and larger groups too, not just for a couple. Very quiet and nice outlook onto the garden. We would stay here again.

Great place that can accommodate a large family
A very spacious home that is only a short drive to downtown Geraldine. The house had a very large open kitchen, dining and sitting area. Beds were a bit soft and linens were extra. Nice outside decks on the side and back for sitting out.

Excellent holiday home!
This was one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. Very clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. But still retained its character as a lovely old villa. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Nice house in a good location
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was tidy and warm and there was heaps of space. It even had a nice teapot (lots of places don't)! Great location close to town too. We would definitely stay again.

Well presented modernised/spacious/comfortable bungalow with comprehensive amenities. Some minor repair items visible eg kitchen floor repairs underway but did not detract from our stay. Very good communications with owner - our thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic location of this spacious holiday home.
Great communication with owners. Very well appointed kitchen. Sadly previous people hadn't cleaned some of the kitchen utensil very well. Rest of property very clean and tidy.

Bigger than it looks!
We were really impressed with the size of the lounge/dining room, which was much bigger than the online photos suggested. This property is less than 10 minutes walk to the hub of Geraldine, has lots of space, and other than trying to figure out the heat pump in the lunge, it was really warm and cosy!

Geraldine holiday at our happy retreat
We self cater so we were very happy with the kitchen fittings and equipment. We managed the oven quite well. The left hand front element has one speed only . it stays on 'high' wherever the knob is turned to. the heat pumps were very appreciated and worked well. Very good in the cooler weather. We were very pleased that we hired the linen and grateful to Pat for her help. We hope to be able to return later this year or in 2022. Very suitable holiday home!
Very comfortable , well appointed for our cooking (we don't use a microwave), warm (Geraldine was cool and windy during our visit) so the fire and heaters, electric blankets were useful. Generous wood supply. we hope that you found your home well cleaned after our stay. we had just arrived and the kitchen/ lounge fire alarm kept going off. We had not lit the fire or started cooking , so I had to take it down. Waving the teatowel was tried a few times unsuccessfully. I put the alarm on the shelf near the bookshelf in the lounge alcove. We looked for the DVD player but could not find it, however as we are big readers, we were'nt worried. thankyou Chris and Meg and Pat. we would like to return next year at some stage

Meg and Chris most helpful when we needed to bring our disabled daughters with us.s.
Kitchen/dining/ living area great for the four of us. bed rooms very suited to our needs, with one daughter needing absolute quiet at night. She had the one with bunks. We don't cook by microwave . Attempted to use oven but failed and couldn't find instructions. We managed well with stovetop elements. Great location for walks and short car trips. we hope to return. This property would be a fantastic place for families to rent. There are lots of games, books and toys to entertain the children. It is within walking distance of the town and a small park. It is well-fenced and has a sunny outlook. The kitchen is very well-stocked. I would highly recommend booking this property.
