"I stayed at Sylvia for two nights when I had to attend a work function in the neighborhood and also work in downtown Vancouver. The area is beautiful and I have always loved the English Bay, so it was amazing to stay here. I also love that Sylvia is a historical hotel and the restaurant has old school craft cocktails!"

"Room was clean, location was great for easy access to the highway and probably the most convenient “in Vancouver” hotel for easy access to the ski resorts. Breakfast was barely a step above continental (eggo toaster waffles, and microwave breakfast sandwiches). But otherwise everything was exactly as advertised, easy parking and convenient location are the biggest pros."
