Comfortable stay
Newer house with the comforts of home. Very clean. Pool and hot tub should not be listed as amenities as they are not easily accessible and are closed! Short drive to Galveston.

Quick getaway
Property was nice and as described in listing, wonderful location. Key was not in lockbox when we arrived, after calling 800 number it took over 30 minutes for someone to answer our call and another 30 waiting for a key to be delivered.

Perfect Beach Weekend
A perfect beach escape. The house was immaculately clean, updated and there was plenty of space in a quiet location. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The only thing we would have enjoyed was an additional kitchen sponge or dish rag. A great property!

Family Vacation
Lovey place to stay, clean and easy access to the beach. The neighborhood is quite and everyone is super friendly. I do wish the description includes a grill is on the property because we had to bring ours from home and when we got here they had one in the garage. Just extra work for us and now we know but we would definitely come back! One other thing was the internet, we were never able to connect with the name and password given to us so we just had to piggy back off another open Wi-Fi.

Vacasa - No Thank You
The house was good. It was clean and updated. We were not left with enough washcloths and no hand towels. The TV screen was taped on each corner to the base of the TV. The wifi did not work and communicating with Vacasa about the issue was ridiculous. They were extremely unhelpful and kept claiming that someone would be out to fix it. 20 hours later, a maintenance man came and told us he couldn’t fix it. We never received follow up from Vacasa and the wifi never worked.

Labor Day weekend stay
Beautiful house in a great location, however there was a problem with roaches. Small roaches in the kitchen, bathrooms, and even on the shower head in the master bath. Also, trash can was full when we checked in.

Excellent property, trouble with communication with local manager
Thais beach house is as-pictured. It is newish, clean, and in a less-traveled part of the island. Downside to the location is lack of stores and restaurants in close proximity, as well as a golf cart repair shop which can be loud a house-and-a-half away. Our only problem was communication with a local manager when we did not have towels of any kind, including regular bath towels and the beach towels in the listing. Contacting Vacasa in general was easy, but their general customer service was unable to help until the local staff could be contacted, which took almost 24 hours, so no bath towels for almost 24 hours and never any beach towels. Everyone we spoke with was nice and apologetic, and eventually it was a supervisor who was able to contact local staff via alternative channels. Otherwise excellent property and very near a newly empty beach.
