Very quiet Over looking Tuscany hills. Walkable into old town centre. Amazing and very knowledgeable and passionate owner. Loves his town. Great recommendations. Taxi to train 13 euros.

We stayed as a family and enjoyed the properties facilities including pool swings and outdoor games. The Tuscan dinner was enjoyable with amazing views. Property in convenient to local restaurants and provided a great recommendation list. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Great value.
My only suggestion would be to provide some basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk. A hairdryer would also be useful.

We were driving through Italy and wanted to stay somewhere that was easy to get to by car, and which was central to Florence, Pisa and the wineries in Chianti. Hotel Tenuta Il Burchio was the perfect place. The staff were friendly, the room was very spacious and had a new bathroom. The restaurant downstairs is lovely and has wonderful food, although is a little bit pricey if you're travelling on a family budget. The breakfast was large and varied and was plenty for the people staying there.

Fairytale castle style home style hotel in this beautiful medieval town. Be aware you can’t drive your car up into the old city - so pack light- you need to park outside the city walls and walk up.
Really great location, private terrace, clean and homely - loved the authentic feel of this place.
