The hosts made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and exceeded our expectations of all the essentials. The homemade breakfast was amazing. The view your the lovely balcony was spectacular. It was one of the highlights of our trip, we would definitely come back! Thank you for your hospitality and attention to the details.

The family that runs this BnB are wonderful. They put together the most wonderful breakfast with fresh and delicious variety of choices. They hand-bake the croissants and the cakes for each morning and homemade yogurt. Everything is just amazing! The terrace is a beautiful place to spend time and catch sunshine while overlooking the Tuscan countryside. It is also a short walk to nearby wineries. However, you can also book tours that take you to multiple sites. Walking around the village is nice too. It is very quiet. A few nice shops are there and also an art gallery!

This is a hard one to review because there is nothing wrong with the property but it’s middle of nowhere. Not even taxis are willing to come by. If you are there to see Florence, I don’t recommend staying here. If you have a car it would be worth it.

O lugar fica em um pequeno vilarejo, muito lindinho e organizado. Embora seja bem localizado, precisa de carro para tudo.A hospedagem em si foi muito tranquila e o Paulo, que nos recebeu, foi uma pessoa maravilhosa, acolhedor, dedicado, e muito comunicativo. Tivemos um problema com o horário da nossa chegada por uma sequência de atrasos (avião, trem e aluguel de carro) e mesmo assim o Paulo nos acolheu de uma maneira tão acolhedora que nos sentimos abraços depois de tanto perregue que passamos. O quarto é espaço e confortável. O café da manhã é maravilhoso, com frutas da estação e produtos artesanais de muita qualidade. Amamos nossa Hospedagem. Com certezaaa recomendados.

Impecable. Todo como uno espera y mas. Volveríamos sin ninguna duda. Es un bed & breakfast excelente! La atencion de los dueños es excelente. La habitación hermosa y una excelente cama. Mucho mejor que la de muchos hoteles de 4 estrellas. Algunas habitaciones tienen vistas increíbles!

O local é muito bonito, casa antiga toda reformada. O único problema é não ter ar condicionado, devido ao calor que faz no verão. O café da manhã é sensacional. Donos extremamente educados. Na rua uns 30m tem um restaurante estrelado Michelin, bom.custo benefício.

Great terrace. Great hosts

Restored townhouse in lovely village of San Donato. Lots of old features and collection of old memorabilia. Fantastic views over Chianti from roof terrace where breakfast is served. Paolo and Valeria are great hosts and looked after us very well. We will go back again!!!

Historic Charm and uniquely decorated

Unique building. Well decorated with antique collection. Historic and interesting. Difficult to reach using Eurail pass. Train station is 10 miles away in the middle of nowhere but there is a local bus stop to Florence. Owners should provide public transportation information in listing. It would have saved us from a rough journey upon arrival. The breakfast was amazing but we missed it our second day due to the early morning bus schedule to Florence. To fully enjoy this property you need to drive unless the owners change a few things to better accommodate those of us who prefer train trips across Europe If we were driving we would rate the B & B a 10 but.... we are traveling Europe by train

The owners were so friendly and helpful when suggesting restaurants for dinner. The breakfast each morning was prepared fresh—fruits, eggs, cheese, pastries, and always homemade cake and croissants. The bedroom was perfect with its wood burning stove and beamed ceiling, and two giant windows framing the Tuscan countryside. We would certainly return for another stay.

Idylle Pur! Das B&B liegt perfekt in einem wunderschönen kleinen Dorf in der Chianti Region. Andere Städte wie Siena oder San Gimignano sind in 30min mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das Haus, die Zimmer und die Terrasse sind wunderbar. Die Eigentümer Paolo und Valeria sind sehr nett, herzlich und hilfsbereit! Alles in allen ein super Aufenthalt!

Great B & B in beautiful location

This place was one of the highlights of our trip around Tuscany. Valaria and Paulo were very friendly and made you feel welcome. It is in one of the most beautiful areas of the Chianti region. We used this as or base to visit Florence and it was perfect.

A great place in a lovely Tuscany village

This is a family property. It was so nice to feel the incredible love with which the owners do everything - from arranging artistically the interior, to maintaining everything in a perfect condition, to talking about their property and looking after their guests. The room was simply perfectly clean (e.g., it happened that we looked under the carpet and their wasn't a single trace of dirt there). The village is very old, high on the hills. In the evening, the whole main street was occupied by restaurant tables with people eating, drinking vine and chatting.

O Le Terrazze del Chianti é demais! Paolo e Valéria nos receberam muito bem. Ficamos em dois quartos lá. O primeiro, maior, foi um sonho - lindo, amplo, decorado ao estilo medieval da toscana (móveis restaurados pelo Paolo, com um toque bem rústico), com vista fantástica, terraço (claro, basta ver o nome do B&B rs...) para café da manhã (ou tarde de relaxamento) perfeito. O segundo quarto foi menor (fizemos reservas em momentos diferentes e conseguimos o quarto melhor somente em uma das ocasiões). Claro, o conforto, privacidade e espaço era melhor no quarto maior, mas ainda assim vale, pois é fofo e igualmente bem decorado. O local é ótimo se você quiser tê-lo como base para ir para o resto da Toscana, ao longo de vários dias - pois Chianti fica no meio da região e entre 20 e uma hora e meia de Siena, Montepulciano, Florença etc etc. Nem pense muito: em Chianti, o Le Terrazze é uma ótima pedida!

Amazing Chianti B&B

We really loved it. Cannot wait to go back. Loved the host family (my son loved Fabrizzio and kept on talking about him...) A wonderful base for traveling in the Tuscany/Firenze/Chianti region.

Absolutnie świetne miejsce, klimat, uroczy właściciele, pieknie zachowany budynek. przy samej starówce. Poza B&B polecam tez samo miasteczki w ktorym bylismy już kilka razy oraz lokalne 3 restauracje (pizzerie).

Tolle Unterkunft

Auf unserer Toskana Rundreise war dies unser letzter Aufenthalt - und auch die beste Unterkunft. Valeria und Paolo sind wundervolle und aufmerksame Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem renoviertem Haus mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Unser Zimmer, welches wir mit 3 Personen belegt hatten, war sehr groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte einen tollen Blick über die toskanische Landschaft. Das Frühstück war leckere und vielfältig, der Cappuccino der beste auf unserer Rundreise! :-) Schade, dass wir nur einen Tag dort bleiben konnten - wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Quaint, romantic, ideally located B&B

Quaint town and beautiful B&B. Very romantic and hotel owners are very eager to help. Bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast / view from the roof patio was incredible. Downsides are this is also the family's home and it feels a bit like you are intruding sometimes and there was blood on one of the pillowcases. They fixed it right away but didn't offer any compensation. Also although it was wonderful to have a wood burning furnace, no control of the temperature. Would definitely recommend it but not sure I would personally stay there again.
