"The pictures don't do it justice, the house is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. Ideal location. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING, the house is so well equipped and has literally everything you could possibly need. Hosts were fabulous and so responsive and even included a welcome basket with wine, treats and bread and milk. We couldn't believe how cheap it was for the location, amenities and house in general. We will 100% be back"

"We stayed in the Lavender Cottage for two nights on a weekend away. The cottage is situated at a short distance from the Southwell Minster and village shops. Southwell itself is quite a compact and cute little village. The cottage is really well presented, clean and well equipped. The host, Rebecca, left us a hamper with bread, juice, milk etc. Everything was very clean and tidy. We had two cozy nights in there and the log fire was a great addition to the lovely relaxing feel the cottage has....

"I booked for 7 people to stay at property. The property looked lovely. There were 5 beds. The sofa bed which we intended to use had no bedding. Eventually I got a call back, and the person argued that everything was set and ready, and should be there. I was eventually told that bedding would be delivered to us the next day first thing in the morning . I was disappointed as I could not reach anyone after calling the customer services number which I was told was a 24hr phone line. The next day at...

"Superbly appointed home in beautiful village location, steps from the village green, two pubs, and village shop. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen, comfortable beds, hot tub, and spacious reception room for relaxing with a glass of wine after a long day sightseeing. Hosts were gracious and helpful. Would definitely return."

"The property was excellent. Table football, trampoline in the garden and gym in the garage kept the younger members of our party well occupied. The added bonus of an on-site tennis court was much appreciated. The position of the was peaceful in spite of a busy main road nearby. "This is a very lovely property in beautiful surroundings. It has everything you need and was fitted out to a high standard. We liked the little pond although it was a bit too chilly to make use f the excellent outside area. We loved the extra touches like the wine/bread etc. Loved the homemade cake (what is the recipe? :). ). Great rooms with owner. Would stay here again when we are back in Lincoln"

The whole group of us really enjoyed it and loved finishing our nights off with a dip in the big hot tub. The weekend was so luxurious we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere.
