"My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. Room was large enough for the two of us, decent washroom, clean linens everyday and a nice little balcony. The breakfast included was a lot better than what I was expecting, it’s a full menu of local options as well omelettes, etc. One of the key points for us was the central location, this is walking distance or short transportation to pretty much anywhere you’re going to want to go in Playa. It’s also across from a municipal park that seemed to be pretty popular among the locals, they had a couple nights with free concerts, live entertainment, and great street vendors. Also, the staff were very friendly, courteous, and always willing to provide great recommendations for beaches, cenotes, activities, etc., and the cheapest/best way to get there from the hotel. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family. "

"Antera was incredible. Our room was spaceous and the kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was the best hotel bed i have ever slept on for my back. We loved every breakfast, which was included, at the attached restaurant called 'Yum Yum'. It was our morning ritual. The coffee is better than any chain cafe, the fruit was so fresh, and everything was better prepared and presented than i expected for a hotel breakfast. It is one of the better restaurants in the area. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The rooftop has lovely pools and a great view of sunsets. The bartender is beyond professional. Downtown can be noisy into the evening, but we did not have any issues sleeping with the AC fan on for white noise. People watching from our balcony was a wonderul way to relax. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and the ADO station. Would definitely recommend and happily stay again."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Reef 28 Hotel. The facilities were super clean. The staff were all very courteous and kind. They were always ready to help at a moment's notice. The amenities were also a great perk of this hotel. I loved the rooftop pool, it gave beach club vibes. The location was very convenient to everything as well. 11/10 definitely recommend. "

"Great time. Had one of the four oceanfront swim up pool next to the big gazebo. Awesome spot. Quick walk to pool if that's your thing or just chill on the patio, in the pool, or right on the beach. Food was great overall. Some things weren't to our liking and other things we got twice! Drinks were generally weak. Awesome coffee! Got couples massage at Magic Spot, 2 minute walk from the front gate. Saw some raccoons and a possum a few times - good bug eaters and they ignore you. Beach is really small. Seaweed is around. I was bad one morning after a pretty windy prior day but they had people out there cleaning it up. They offer numerous activities like yoga, stretching, neat little arts and crafts, pool games, nightly shows - do it all or do nothing! I'd go back. "
