"We last stayed here a couple of years ago and enjoyed it but it seems to have gone downhill. The hotel location is great, the room was clean and tidy, beds comfortable, but the bathroom was full of mould and in definite need of a refurb. We had the buffet breakfast in the restaurant which was cold and not worth the price. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and didn’t seem to care the bathroom was mouldy. We cancelled a booking for our return trip and stayed at a much nicer place for the same price. "

"One of the most modern looking hotels in Rotorua. Staff was excellent! Super sweet and attentive. Free parking if you’re driving down. Centrally located near by tours and activities. Always check directly with hotel for possible cheaper prices. Overall great stay! "

"You give for what you paid. The first room that they gave us had a broken sliding door to the Spa room. One of the pillow was dirty. The second room didn't had a water stopper for the spa and it was not working fully. The reception don't open after evening, so if you come back after dinner and find out there you need any services there are none. The rooms are quite big, it's suitable if you have a big family with kids. And they have a kitchen that you can cook, if you don't feel like going out to eat."

"The lift was not working, and we stayed at the second floor. The light was not working so we had to go down the stairs with our phone's flashlight. The facilities were dated but enough to use; kitchen stovetop and bathroom shower were rusted. The motel only provided 1-day supply of hair shampoo and soap, so have to use sparingly if you don't bring toiletries and are staying for more than a day. Receptionist was polite, and let us view the room before paying. Location is good, near to Rotorua's attractions + restaurants at walking distance."
