Didn't get to try their food from their main menu as my partner was being very fussy and wanted pie and mash or sausages and mash and it wasn't an option on menu, but the breakfast was delicious."
"Room and bathroom beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were amazing. All staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Great base to explore the area.
It was unfortunate while we were there that the lift was out of order, making it difficult for my elderly disabled mother to get to and from our first floor room. Access to a lounge or somewhere to sit in the evenings would have made it perfect."

The only minor negatives were, the TV is ridiculously small and most of the Freeview channels don’t work due to low or poor signal - surely a hotel in 2025 can resolve this issue? "Beautiful quiet location, Plenty of space outside on the patio and also inside . Staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was very good with an over fill carpark. Food was very good and breakfast was good value and very nice, If anything, the bedrooms were a little on the small side and rooms need a bit of freshening up. All in All we were very happy with our stay and would certainly go again,"
"A lovely little building in Mildenhall. Certainly an historic building, and comes with the quirks of its age, but the team has done a brilliant job of adapting and making it up to date. Missing shampoo, and no hair dryer, but the bed was great and the shower fantastic. Kettle and tea bits were all I really needed :-). "
