"Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area."

"All staff were very friendly and helpful. Great communication Rooms were very nice, airy, quality furniture and decor throughout. No air con but fans provided in rooms. Plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. Bathroom spacious with nice shower. No problems parking. Ate one night, both meals nice and i particularly recommend the punjab rajma curry which was delightful. Great location, a quick walk into centre. Minor critiques ..Music and talking outside my room a little loud until 2am but it was a Saturday night so not entirely unexpected and I’m a light sleeper. Other room slept like a baby. Couldn’t find a key card drop off box when reception was closed at checkout. Don’t know why hotels always use such tiny cups in the bedrooms.. I need a mug in the morning! I will happily stay again when next in Thetford."

"Lots of gangs of kids hanging around, and not a safe feeling area. Property lacked basic things that you’d expect in a hotel. No one on site to contact to rectify things. Not a good place to stay. "

"It was very obvious from the start that the house was newly renovated. Almost everything still had the tags on it. Absolutely nothing was plugged in, turned on or tested before I got there. There were no amenities, such as soap, dish cloths, cleaning supplies, trash bags, toilet brushes, or even bins in the bathrooms. I worked through some of these issues fairly easily with the management company. If you stay with a dog, be aware that the next-door neighbors have two dogs that are extremely aggressive against the fence anytime you are outside or they can hear you moving around inside the house. The road noise is next to the house is somewhat loud, but easy to ignore most of the time. There are some very nice walking trails just a quarter mile from the house. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. "
