We arrived early and our room was ready to check in which was super as we had a wedding to attend.parking was available which was another plus for us. Staff were inviting and friendly. Room was inviting and comfortable. Lovely shower! Loved the bar snacks and lovely breakfast. Ideal location for us in the middle of shops cafes etc.
Arrived well before check in time, but had no problem with parking my car in their car park (register ant reception). And my room was ready. Really helpful and friendly staff, lovely cooked breakfast, various options. Also had meal in the pub on the first night, lovely. Room fine. Well done all round.
We thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Bushel Inn. The accommodations were simple, but lovely. Right in the heart of the town..a perfect location to walk to everything.
Staff was wonderful and friendly. Would highly recommend!
Clean room , very helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Room 2 has very thin walls. The next door neighbour was on her phone for hours and we could hear every word she said.
Great place to stay in Bury, great breakfast free parking comfy bed and superb shower
The staff are very helpful as well
Only fault is the room is beyond dated and to be honest dirty, really needs an overhaul
We had a lovely stay at the Bushel for a weekend in Bury St Edmunds. Free parking, friendly staff and a great breakfast! Lots of character and charm in this 17 century coaching inn and still a buzzing pub until closing time.
The staff here were lovely, the room was comfortable with an excellent shower. Some noise from the pub below as you would expect on a Saturday night but didn't bother us. The cooked breakfast excellent, the continental was a little limited
Hotel was friendly and check in was easy. The rooms were a good size. Beds were comfy and the shower was excellent. The room was very warm indeed, there was a fan provided which did help.
Very concerned about state of one of food service staff, decided not to eat at The Bushel at all, not dinner and not breakfast. Fortunately, there is a good cafe nearby for breakfast. For the record, the stay was greatly spoiled by atrocious state of 'townspeople'.
