"Staff was nice and the stay was excellent. Super close to BART, too. The area is a bit sketchy and I heard some people screaming and yelling at night but other than that it was fine. "

Whenever I am in the Bay Area I stay in Emeryville It has a lovely safe waterside area with boardwalk. Shopping and dining in walking distance from the hotel Lovely view of the Bay Bridge. Close to Berkeley and Nappa Valley

We had a different impression of Emeryville after this visit. Walked along the green way path with parks and workout stations. We noticed more public art.

We stayed here for a concert in Oakland. The most direct drive to Oakland went through a scary area at night. Have to be careful 1-3 miles around this hotel.
