"No continental breakfast as advertised. Office was locked up every morning. Very disappointed."

"Housekeeping and maintenance isn’t what it used to be. Clearly not clean and fixes involve lots of caulk. Bathroom lights are strobe lights over the shower. Beware if you are epileptic! "

"The room appeared to be pretty clean but a little musty. On arrival our room was not ready so we had to leave until the room was prepared and it was after check in on our arrival. Once we turned on the air it's started smelling like urine. We know we couldnt switch due to the front desk telling us earlier there were no more rooms available. We sprayed deoderizer in the room and in the carpet. When it was time for bed idk if whatever they wash their sheets with bothered my skin but I itched the whole time. We always stay here when visiting my inlaws and never had an experience like this. So disappointed. I don't know if it's under new management but something is terribly wrong. I don't think I'll be booking here again. After 16 years this by far was the worse visit"

"The Hope House was so charming, clean and comfortable. Everything needed and more was provided and well appointed in all areas. The property was beautiful and serene with outdoor seating areas, including swings to enjoy the lakeviews and grounds. The house has a sweet screened in porch attached to enjoy morning coffee or evening breezes. We were two couples that stayed there during the Peaches to Beaches event, and Hope House was convenient to shopping and dining, though you can certainly make your own meals with everything you need to do so, and it was a relaxing place to come back to each day. Brenda was prompt and gracious with communicating with us and she even checked with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again when we need a place to stay in the area or just for a getaway. "

"Our stay was perfect for our group of 5. The home was quaint and accommodating,The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunset by the lake and listening to the birds. This was a great spot for disconnecting and reconnecting."
