It was a perfect mountain town experience plenty to do in the area as well, Clayton was only a 20 min drive. I will definitely be coming back for a longer stay. "

"We had a great family vacation at the Clear Creek Lodge. The owners were extremely communicative and focused on our comfort and enjoyment. The cabin was welcoming, clean and had many amenities for all ages. "Had family visiting from Texas who had never fly fished. The location of Riverlands Retreat is perfect for anglers. Catch and release only at the cabin where we caught multiple trout everyday using artificial nymphs or streamers. If you want to keep trout that you catch, the cabin is just 15 minutes from multiple sites (Rock Creek, Deep Hole, Cooper Creek, Sandy Bottom) stocked by the Dept of Natural Resources. "Everything about this stay was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. The front staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and ended up upgrading us to an executive suite when they found out our room wasn't available. The suite had an absolutely incredible view. My only complaint was that the balcony was locked down. I would've definitely loved to enjoy my morning coffee out there but I'm sure there's a reason they are locked. Close to fantastic restaurants and walkable to the local parks and riverfront shops. I'll definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Savannah!"
