Hotel Mazarin

Hotel Mazarin

10/10 Excellent
"Loved my stay here. Great location in French Quarter near Bourbon Street but also near downtown area. Courtyard style hotel, which protects it from the noise of Bourbon. One of the bars has live jazz every night and I spent a lot of time there. (It is effectively in the next street, although I believe it is possible to access it directly from the hotel.) Staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Some may consider the style a bit old fashioned but it is in keeping with the building and a welcome change from generic modern hotels."

"Very close to things we wanted to see and do. Great happy hour meal deal. Valet parking only but they were very efficient. Pool was nice but no towel service until the fourth call to the front desk. Breakfast was slightly better than a Holiday Inn Express but cost $25pp plus tip."

"Front the front door you can feel the difference. Staff was AMAZING! Rooftop was beautiful, bartenders made great drinks. I can't say enough how perfect the room was. Going forward when I travel if they have a Virgin Hotel we will stay there."

The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery

The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery

10/10 Excellent
"The building felt a bit older but that is part of its appeal. It has a cool design that is perfect for New Orleans style. It was clean and maintained, and its location was very convenient, since you can walk just about anywhere from the hotel. The bar and restaurant were amazing."
