"Room was a little dusty- definitely needed a wipe down, especially the table tops and phone. There was no air conditioning, which was a shock. We requested soap which never came. As a result, we didn't bother asking for bath towel as they only gave us one. That being said, the breakfast was nice as were the staff in the breakfast area."

"Ideal place to stay for 1 night. A 5 minute walk from the train station, all amenities close by but it wasn't noisy for sleeping at night. Reception staff and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Definitely would stay here again."

"If you are a party of walkers that want a nice clean room, a hearty evening meal , with a couple of drinks, and a good extensive breakfast the KHI is for you. If you want an atmospheric pub, I would suggest you consider somewhere else. The room and bathroom were clean with all the facilities you could reasonably expect for the money."
